Halloween is one of those holidays; which, far from scare; allow us to create a good connection with our sons and daughters and neighbors and friends. That’s why, in this post, I’m going to talk a little about how to celebrate Halloween safely for you, your children and your friends.
How to celebrate Halloween if …
You’ll be the host of a Halloween Party
Organize a party is not easy! If the theme is Halloween makes it a little more difficult; because, you must take your creativity to another level; however, in these times when there are many restrictions due to the pandemic; these tips can help you to have a great party:

- Make sure the place is clean the day of the party: In addition to doing a deep cleaning at the party place; it is important to have places where guests can constantly wash their hands.
- Prepare your Halloween snacks with care: When preparing the snacks for your guests, think about taking care of them. Therefore, you should wash your hands properly, wash kitchen utensils and ingredients and, if possible, use a mask. Also, try not to leave the sandwich table uncovered; use transparent paper to cover the food to keep it free of any viruses or bacteria.

If you’re not organizing the party, but you have been invited to one; You should also take some preventions:
- Combine your costume with your face mask and try your hands are bare, so you can practice constant hand washing.
- Avoid unnecessary contact with surfaces and do not touch foods or snacks that you are not going to take.
- If you have had a temperature or have any flu symptoms; Avoid attending the party, so as not to infect others and explain the host of the party why you will not attend.
If you will do the traditional “Trick or Treat” tour in your neighborhood
If you are not of organizing or attending Halloween parties; but you celebrate with the traditional “Trick or Treat”, or you wait at home for the boys and girls to give them their candies; You should also follow some recommendations:
- Avoid that your child’s costume has elements that touch the ground (capes or accessories); so, that it does not carry viruses or bacteria that may be on the ground.

- Organize the boys and girls to keep a distance between them to avoid viruses spreading.
